AppleInsider on Apple’s September 1, 2010 event:

Apple on Wednesday invited members of the media to its annual media-centric keynote, where it is expected to introduce new iPods and an updated Apple TV, set for Sept. 1 in San Francisco, Calif.

Of course, like everyone else, I’m expecting them to unveil the new iTouch 4g but it’s strange that if the iTouch’s new focus is mobile gaming, why make the event’s theme based on the iTouch’s “old” main purpose (mobile music/video).

I’m just hoping the new device will in-fact have a retina display and the new A4 processor. FaceTime and front-facing camera sounds cool, but not essential to me personally, especially if it means a higher price for the device.
